accruWealth

accruWealth is a financial company specializing in alternative methods of managing money.The business collateral is a two-color design printed on a bright-white, heavy linen paper. The brick red and warm gray color scheme, coupled with this classically textured paper, creates a presentation that communicates professionalism and a cultivated knowledge of finances. The business cards were designed with a vertical format, instead of the typical horizontal format, to visually strengthen the accruWealth concept of "changing perspective" and to accentuate the vertical nature of the logo.
Acupuncture Health Works

Acupuncture Health Works specializes in acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine and massage therapy. Bamboo, being symbolic of Spring in chinese medicine, visually communicates a philosophy of rejuvenation and health. The bamboo logo mark is abstracted into it’s most basic elements, similar to a sumi brush painting.
All Out Athletics

All Out Athletics sells softball and baseball bats at their retail store in Marysville, WA, as well as online. The company provides bat reviews, an interactive forum, product pictures and descriptions for customers and the ability to purchase online. They also plan to release their own line of branded athletic apparel. The logo is iconic and communicates an authority in the athletic industry.
American Mutual Insurance Services

American Mutual Insurance Services provides a wide selection of home, auto and life insurance. maoStudios designed a timeless American logo that was clean, professional and unique. By balancing the heavy weight of the icon and the classic serif typeface, the logo rests comfortably in white space and exudes a sophisticated professionalism.
Boston Coffee Company

Boston Coffee Company is a small coffee roaster on the East Coast focused on delivering “The Freshest Coffee on Earth.” The company sports its own line of coffee beans and a retail store and cafe. The label design communicates a classic coffee roast with bold and rich flavor.
FocusPlus

FocusPlus is a consult liason service management tool developed by Ignite Analytics. The FocusPlus software functions on a system of intuitive "plus-minus" cascading menus, creating an intuitive organizational system for data. maoStudios designed a collateral package to differentiate the FocusPlus brand from its competitors. The overall design is clean and soft to appeal to medical doctors and administrators and includes business papers, banner signage and a brochure with illustrations.
Mike Carpenter

Mike Carpenter is a loan officer who set out on a unique marketing campaign. Instead of using his parent company brand, Mortgage Broker Associates, and the ubiquitous headshot-on-a-business-card tactic, Mike and maoStudios developed a fun way to market to new and existing clients. Based on ‘the anatomy of a simply stellar mortgage professional,’ Mike’s marketing material points out all of his exceptional attributes. This theme is implemented across his direct mail pieces, business cards, thank you cards, and website.
Urban Mobility Group

Urban Mobility Group, through an alliance with the Downtown Seattle Association, King County Metro and the City of Seattle, is working to increase transportation access to downtown Seattle. They focus on alternative modes of transportation, providing incentives to companies and property managers who implement their programs.

maoStudios designed a sales brochure specifically geared toward property managers in the downtown business district of Seattle. The focus was on "Utopia Tower" – what a future downtown skyscraper could look like, should the Urban Mobility Group transportation incentives be implemented. The entire brochure was designed and illustrated on a short timeline of only 2 weeks. maoStudios also assisted with copywriting the brochure.
